As the self-proclaimed “official meeting place and community for the world’s leaders in digital business, marketing, and innovation,” the DMEXCO conference sits at the forefront of digital transformation.
40,000 visitors, 1,100 exhibitors, and 570 speakers will gather on September 12th and 13th in Cologne, Germany to build connections and discuss the next wave of trends driving the modern business landscape.
Care is at the center of everything we do at Sprinklr, which is why we take DMEXCO’s 2018 motto – Take C.A.R.E – to heart. The acronym is meant to encourage attendees to embrace Curiosity, Action, Responsibility, and Experience.
Here are five topics and trends we’re looking forward to exploring as we Take C.A.R.E. at the conference.
At DMEXCO 2018, there will be a wealth of opportunities for brands learn how to engage customers and build better relationships. Spoiler alert: it all centers around social care.
The seminar “Marketing & CRM Trends 2018 – Building Customer Relationships Through the Right Moments” will inform attendees how to use customer data to create authentic, personalized experiences. Practitioners will learn how to engage in real-time – across the social media landscape – to reach customers with the right message, at the right time, on the right platform.
Attendees can also attend the seminar “How the World’s Biggest Brands are Leading the Digital Revolution and Taking Customer Confidence to a new Level” to up their social care game. They’ll hear from key leaders at companies such as Toyota, Unilever, and Shell to learn how they build trust with customers online.
Everyone’s talking about AI, but its uses and implications for the future remain undefined. The “Using AI to unlock the future today” session at DMEXCO will provide an overview of how companies are using AI today, as well as how they can make the most of it over the coming years.
Already, brands are seeing a number of opportunities for AI in sales, including forecasting, pricing, upselling, and more. Armed with a stronger grasp of AI fundamentals, participants will have a better idea of how to deploy AI throughout their organizations.
For global companies, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) has had a significant impact on the way they communicate with customers. While GDPR is limited to the European Union, brands that have customers spread throughout the world must take note.
The Work Lab “GDPR – How to be in control in the digital jungle” will provide background on GDPR compliance and what marketers need to know. Brands may need to update their websites and processes to ensure digital privacy, and this Work Lab will serve as a guide.
By now, most brands know that personalization drives advertising conversations, yet few are able to deliver one-to-one experiences. Part of the problem stems from not knowing exactly what the term even means. The seminar “The principles of personalization in digital advertising” aims to define the term and show attendees how to create real, human relationships online.
DMEXCO attendees will also learn how to navigate ad blocking technology and see which types of ads are unacceptable in the modern digital landscape. “Circumventing Ad Blockers: It’s a Bad Idea” will explain how AI is changing ad blocking capabilities, and examine what advertisers need to know to avoid unnecessary work and inaccurate metrics.
How can brands find people to tell their story in authentic, compelling ways? Successful influencer marketing campaigns create a partnership between companies and the people who love their products. The Speakers’ forum Influencers – The Force Awakens will break down influencer marketing into an easily implemented formula for attendees.
The seminar “Influencer Marketing Success Stories for Every Stage in the Marketing Funnel” will provide further information and examples for brands to follow. It will be followed by a question and answer session to dive deeper into concepts that may require more explanation.
As companies increase their digital capabilities and bolster their focus on the customer, DMEXCO will serve as a crossroad of ideas, expertise, and inspiration. Sprinklr will be onsite to share our views on social care, and offer insights to attendees who are interested in connecting with their customers as individuals, not just data points.
As a Leader in all four social categories of the 2018 Forrester Wave report, Sprinklr is a trusted partner when it comes to every aspect of social media management.
